Gorillas in the Mist is a 1988 American film directed by Michael Apted. Starring Sigourney Weaver, Bryan Brown, Julie Harris and John Omirah Miluwi in the lead roles.


Awarded the Golden Globe Award 1989 for best original music (Maurice Jarre), and best actress in film - Drama (Sigourney Weaver) - shared. Winner of the Golden Reel Award 1989 prize: best sound editing; and the Genesis Awards 1990 prize candidate for an Oscar in the categories: Best Actress, Best Editing, Best Original Score and Best Adapted Screenplay.
Synopsis
Dian Fossey inexperienced travels to Africa to study the life of the mountain gorillas. There he becomes an expert zoologist and see how the few remaining animals are slaughtered by unscrupulous hunters, spending the rest of his life to protect and care. Get mount a national park in the mountain habitat of gorillas and get become famous thanks to the informative documentary about gorillas recorded for National Geographic with Digit, the dominant gorilla first group studied and which establishes a close relationship.
